This oversight was corrected in 1995 when I bought a stone for his grave. Physically William was very short and had to buy his clothes in youths department. His hair turned white at age 21. He was a very staunch Episcopalian as was his father before him. He lived in 1860 with William Stearns & family.      William Cambridge Jr. was an Episcopalian. William was the only undertaker in Boston during the Civil War. He was infected by dead bodies and had to take strychnine in whiskey each day. He lived in East Concord NH around 1888 where he bought a farm. He later moved to Everett MA around 1896 where he lived until he died at age 94. William gave his house to his son Ernest and his (Ernests) wife Christina as payment for taking care of him.
